Our Vision Statement:

"To Promote the Word of God
and the Love of Jesus."

Statement of Purpose

The Mission of the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of our world.

The Vision of Dunlap UMC is to Promote the Word of God and the love of Jesus by:

Grounding all our ministries in prayer and faithfulness to the Biblical witness.

Maintaining our spiritual heartbeat by means of creative and lively worship, excellence in Christian education, and meaningful opportunities for risk taking mission and service.

Extending our outreach of friendliness by personally inviting people to our worship service and ministries and offering to provide transport to get them here. (Each one win one concept)

Increasing our number of small group ministries for caring, nurture, and fellowship.

Embracing multicultural diversity as a witness to the family God is creating.

Walk Thru Bible
March 31 is the day before
Easter. It’s also the day after
Good Friday, which means
that, for Christians, it is a day
not of despair (because we
know what’s coming), but a
day when we are subdued and
quiet and contemplative.
This year, we are having a
special experience at the church. People may come to the church any time between 10:00
and 2:00. There will be stations which tell the story of the Bible, from creation through
Good Friday.
We will learn about God’s
plans for humanity and His grace in providing His Son for us. This will be a wonderful way to prepare our hearts for Easter morning.
